# Privacy policy

Short version: your test data stays on your device.

## Data processed during tests

Controller input, key presses, mouse movement, clicks, timings and generated audio are processed by JavaScript running in your browser. This data is not sent to ControllerTests or to anyone else.

## Data stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage for a few conveniences: your light/dark theme choice and personal best scores (for example reaction time and clicks per second). Nothing in local storage is transmitted. You can delete it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

## Cookies and tracking

ControllerTests sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. We currently use no analytics.

## Hosting logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy.

## Changes

If this policy changes — for example if advertising is introduced to keep the tools free — this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the “last updated” date below will change.
